The Jefferson City East Side Business Association (JCESBA) is delighted to offer both Traditional and Non-Traditional Academic Scholarshipsto local students who will be/are attending a university, college, or trade school.
To be eligible for a Traditional Scholarship, the applicant must be local high school students, who will begin their first year at a university, college, or trade school in the fall of 2025 and who meet at least one of the following criteria: be a child of a current JCESBA member, employee of a JCESBA member business, plan to attend/attending Lincoln University or State Technical College of Missouri, or submit a reference letter from a JCESBA member. Recipients are awarded $1,000 to use for further education at a university, college or trade school. The deadline for submitting completed applications is April 1, 2025.
To be eligible for a Non-Traditional Scholarship, the applicant must be currently employed by a JCESBA member and currently enrolled in college to further their education, seeking an associate's degree, BA, BS or master's degree. The $500 scholarship is paid directly to the education institution for tuition &/or fees. The deadline for submitting completed applications is April 1, 2025
