The East Side Business Association and American Legion teamed up and created patriotic
displays in the two roundabouts on East McCarty Street. The displays promote American patriotism, economic growth, and pride in Jefferson City. The north roundabout features a six-foot tall eagle statue atop a pedestal of stone. The south roundabout features a 40 foot tall flag pole with a pentagon-shaped monuments with patriotic messages around the base.
